Lucky's Adventures series was inspired by a true story about my rescue dog Lucky.  In Lucky's Adventure in Winter Wonderland, I wanted to show the close friendships of Lucky and her pals (while they are having fun, skiing, skating, sledding). In the spirit of Christmas, the story shows the importance of kindness and giving back when Lucky and her friends bring coats and toys to the rescue shelter and help the dogs get adopted.
