Rudy's Lost His Red NoseFrom the Author:

As far back as I can remember I have always loved Christmas. Being one of eight our parents made sure our Christmases were magical. I'm number 2 by the way

Twelve days before Christmas the fairies always made time to decorate our home during the night. Today I can still remember that feeling of excitement of going down the stairs and peeking in the lounge to see if they had been, to see if the fairies had performed this transformation, I could still feel that magic.

Christmas Eve was the most magical night of the year too. Climbing the stairs, putting my sock at the end of the bed, I was still doing this at the age of 18! Then trying to get to sleep so that Santa could work his magic.

We never slept for long, one of my sisters or brothers would wake up then all of us would be awake. I would stretch my foot out to the end of the bed to feel if Santa had left a sack for me. I couldn't see because our Mum and Dad used to take out all the light bulbs in the hope that we would not get up too early but it never stopped us as we all took our torches to bed after they did that one year!

All this feeling of excitement and magic I have tried to put into this adventure with the Jolly Jangles and their friend Rudy. To teach children that no matter how difficult it can be to solve a problem it is always best to share it and help each other out, to be part of a team and to never give up as there is always a way to make magic happen.
