About the Author

I wrote the story over ten years ago on a rainy Christmas night. Poor Sticky with his dog Snowball sat in my sketchbook until I plucked up the courage to get their story published. Christmas has always been a special time for me. My dad didn’t work as much around that time when I was a little one, and I remember bundling up in blankets being read to by the brightly lit tree. I hope Sticky and Snowball create memories for young readers and their families, bundled up, smiling about the sticky situation this silly elf creates. I couldn't have done it all without my brilliant illustrator Pablo Andreetta who made this story have a heartbeat.
