The multi-award winning Old Mate Media team has created, written, designed and launched some of the biggest brands in entertainment. We have 20 years of experience as editors, writers, designers, contributors and consultants to a diverse range of globally recognised brands. Brands like Game Informer, Maxim, Foxtel, Finder, UNSW, Sydney Morning Herald, Red Bull and Popular Science. Old Mate Media is not only versed in a wide range of topics, but also has a little black book full of important contacts across the entertainment industry. Plus, as a small team, Old Mate Media is a cost effective solution to your content creation needs. Founder, Chris Stead, is also a highly sought after editorial consultant. Email us for details.
Old Mate Media has a passion for Children’s Picture Books. Not only do we create our own original titles – including the famous Wild Imagination of Willy Nilly series – but we also help aspiring authors self-publish. We have completed a handy guide for those getting started, but we also encourage you to check out Services menu. It includes a tonne of handy tips, and shows how we can plug into the process where we’re needed. Old Mate Media is run by parents, and our passion for Children’s Books started with our kids. If you too want to feel the thrill of creating something your children can read, we can help. And who knows, perhaps you will make a tidy little income selling it to other parents around the world. To see some of our work, visit the Old Mate Media shop.
One of Old Mate Media’s specialities is helping parents and other creative writers bring their stories to life. What we’ve discovered through our own life experiences is that making up stories to fascinate our children is something that comes naturally, so what if you could actually make those stories into real books? In fact, what if you could actually make money from them by selling those stories to other parents to read to their children? And what if doing this wasn’t a huge investment?
You don’t have to be an artist. You don’t have to be a writer. You don’t have to be a web developer or a video producer or a distributor. All you need is an idea, and your journey can begin. Just follow our step-by-step guide.
